Portrait artists in South Jersey

I'd like to get a portrait of my daughter but I don't want any schlubs doing it. I'd like it to look perfect when its all said and done. Does anyone know of any great portrait artists in the South Jersey area?? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Best bet is to shoot into Deleware and get an appointment with Shane O'Neil. He is probably the best down south in that area.

@ joetat are you kidding me? It still so sad and unbelievable to me how people put a price on something that will be on your skin forever. If it costs and extra $100 or 2 don't you think it's worth paying for it for a premium tattoo versus a joe schmo flash shop tattoo. There is no excuse for wanting to cut corners in tattoo pricing because tattoos are a luxury item in life anyway and if you can't afford a good then chances are a shitty tattoo is not that far off. Don't listen to this idiot and try and book an excellent artist like Shane O'Neil. Good luck!

I got tattooed by Jack Rudy,and Brian Everett over 10yrs.ago,and paid alot of money to get a portrait from them.I chose them because they are really good,and because 10yrs ago there wasn't many artists who did excellent portrait work as there is today.What i'm saying,is there's more options today if you want to get good portraits.To only recommend one artist because he is good,and well known negates the not so well known tattooers who are just as good,but keep a low profile.Check out Chris Adamek ,& Paul Acker,& Eric Marcinizyn's portraits,and try and say their not doing excellent portrait work is an injustice.Your gonna get a good portrait from any of these artists,but your gonna pay more for Shane because he does conventions,and is well known in the industry.

Well I never had a tattoo but I been researching where I can get a portrait(pet)tattoo in South Jersey. I looked at the Chris James and I dunno about "decent" his stuff is killer in my opinion. But then again I think it's all a matter of opinion/taste! I will probably contact him if I can ever get up enough nerve to get my baby on me!
